About us

Since 1989, Draeger Lienert GmbH & Co. KG has been a developer and distributer of ergonomically optimized assistive technology workplace solutions for people who are blind or partially sighted.

Up to now, we have developed 15 products making new areas of work accessible to people who are blind or partially sighted or enabling them to retain their employment.
Additionally, Draeger Lienert is one of the only independent distributors in Germany selling standard assistive technology solutions from various manufacturers for people who are blind or have low vision, such as screen readers and Braille displays.

Our products enable blind individuals to work easily, intuitively, and first and foremost, efficiently. This allows them to be just as productive as their sighted coworkers.
When requirements at the workplace change, Draeger Lienert offers new, innovative universal access products. We are in close contact with our clients, who use our assistive technology workplace solutions on a daily basis. This allows us to continuously refine our products.

Usually, Draeger Lienert clients have to be able to use and manage large volumes of information efficiently. They include ministry employees, judges, administrative officers, psychotherapists, people who are self-employed, service and call center staff, employees of industrial organizations, teachers, as well as PR and other consultants.

Draeger Lienert products are sold internationally exclusively through U-R-Able, a company based in Canada. U-R-Able has provided accessible workplace solutions to blind lawyers in Australia, the USA, and Canada. DL® products are also used by blind IT professionals in Canada. All of the divisions of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) have been equipped with ALT (known as DL® Easy Task in Germany).

Draeger Lienert exhibits annually at SightCity in Frankfurt, at RehaCare in Düsseldorf, as well as at about 20 other national and international shows.
